About the doctor

Dr. Rachna Budania completed her MBBS in 1989 and her MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 1992 from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore, as a merit scholar throughout. Her MS thesis on the partogram in labour began a lifelong focus on high-risk obstetrics, complicated labour and obstetric critical care.
For nearly two decades she ran her own nursing home in Jhunjhunu, handling difficult deliveries single-handedly across rural Shekhawati. Since 2010 she has practised in Jaipur as a consultant, DNB teaching faculty and surgeon, is with Hope Hospital, Jaipur since 2025, and welcomes women to her own SHE Wellness Clinic in Civil Lines.
